The people I met in Sierra Leone—the people in countries all over the developing world—need help from the rest of us. They need our money and our time and all of the skills we can offer them. If you are currently supporting an organization that is active in the developing world, please renew your commitment to them.
If you would like to make a donation directly to the people in Kamakwie, please email email@example.com.
Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative is a remarkable organization that deserves our support. It works to eradicate the use of child soldiers in the world, and, says its founder, LGen. (ret’d) Roméo Dallaire, “to eliminate even the thought of the use of children as an instrument of war.”
World Hope International Canada is the charity that asked me to go to Kamakwie. They continue to do important work throughout the African continent and in Eastern Europe. You can help support them here.
